Virtual Assistants – What are they and how do they work?
A Virtual Assistant provides secretarial support to businesses offsite. They work as an independent consultant running their own business. VA’s often work full time, part time and on once off or single projects, tailoring to the needs of their clients. A VA is an assistant to your business, not an employee and as such think about improving inefficiencies in your business as a whole.
They utilize the tools of the internet, fax, email and phone to manage your workflow based from their own office. Although generally you may not spend much time with your VA face-to-face, here at The Office Buddy™ we like to support those businesses in our community and coming out and meeting them to discuss and understand their needs.
